I would like to say that “figs” in our name is attributed to the wonderous fruit known as a symbol of prosperity, fertility, wisdom, and strength. It was one of the first fruits cultivated by humans, revered since ancient times. Its leaves represent modesty and innocence.

Truthfully, I love figs and it so happens my surname is Figueroa, so there’s that.

The “north” comes from North Ave which is a special place to me. You’ll find through my content that I’m always in thoughtful pursuit of my true north. I wish the same for you!
